Claude Monet was a French impressionist was born in 1840. Moving to the port town of
Saint-Adresse in 1845. In the peroid of 1856 and 1857 Monet began taking taking oil painting lessons from Eugene Doudin . Eugene Doudin liked to do his painting outside and pressed this on Claude Monet. Dieing from lung cancer in 1926 living for 86 years.
